Replacement for a Sony HCD-S300? or source for parts?

I'm asking here as I don't have much knowledge about home entertainment systems, we just use an old ps2 hooked up to our tv at home to play dvd's or watch them on a pc.

However one of the ladies at work asked me to look at her sony HCD-S300, it wouldn't eject or play dvd's.
I've opened it up and a cam arm thing is snapped and a cog is missing
Looks like part 109 on here http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part...&prst=&shdMod=
But that doen't look exactly the same, look here on the service manual page 4 http://www.scribd.com/doc/46983801/S...ctrisch-Schema
You can see 2 cogs and one pulley on the cam arm, the 2nd cog is missing, so nothing engages the toothed runner on the under side of the tray, why it will not eject.

As far as I can see we've got 2 options, 1 source the correct part or 2 replace the whole thing.

My google-fu has failed me in locating the correct part from a uk source any ideas?

If not any ideas on a replacement system, needs to be a combined dvd player and amp for 5.1 speaker system of the same size, ideally would like to re-use the existing speakers.

So any suggestions on a replacement or help locating parts?

Re: Replacement for a Sony HCD-S300? or source for parts?

Thanks, I had actually found the first one, and that does look like the cam (once I got it out as that photo is the back of it) however I also need the cog.
there's definitely a cog missing, that hooks into the teeth on the underside of the tray.
problem is I've got no idea what the part numbers are.

I'll give all 3 a try and see how I get on.

Re: Replacement for a Sony HCD-S300? or source for parts?

well partsmaster wasn't helpful at all.

However www.pltv.org.uk which seems to just be a front for www.signalsuk.com was very helpful, had a live web chat with John . . . whoever that might be.
He managed to take my vague description and pretty much figured out the bits I needed, then emailed me a section of a high res mechanical drawing (same as the one on that searsparts webpage, but you can tell the bits apart)
they've only got the cam listed atm but he said he'll get the other two bits added.
Rough guess looks like it'll be £20-25
