Electronics We are not just talking about cutting up cases, but also about working on another level - making custom PCBs and other electronic gizmos to make your mod even more attractive

    akasa AK-FC-03 Led modding

Ok, so i have this fan controller (well, i have 3 of them...):

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=257657

Great bit of kit, but i am getting a little bored of blue led's/cathodes/water, and would like to change colour, but to do this fully, i would need to change the led's in this fan controller.

Is this possible, as it looks like the led's are built straight into the pcb, and i'm also finding it rather difficult to get the plastic part off from on top of the led's.

    Your help would be appreciated.

answered my own question.. they are not surface mounted, so looks like i can get rid of them and re-solder on some (green?) ones.

Now, does anyone know where i can get some green led's? (i'm very lazy as you can tell )
