So I don't mean to bitch but when a "Lifetime Guarantee" ram stick from a Tier 1 memory vendor blows and leaves a nasty burn mark on both itself and the motherboard (taking out both) and I bother to send it back with an RMA number and the RAM packed in a DHX packaging box (showing I'm a regular Corsair customer) I expect slightly more of a response than merely returning it with a piece of paper with a highlighted section saying:

"Corsair product(s) that have been physically damaged/abused, i.e. removal or application of heatspreaders and labels".

Well, duh, of course it's physically damaged! That's why I'm sending it back! That's what I said on the webnote which is why Corsair issued me with an RMA number. If physical damage isn't an acceptable cause for an RMA why bother to issue a number; just tell me you don't care and I'll save myself the cost of the return to Holland and buy from someone else in future!

(BTW, there was no removal or labels or changes of the heatspreaders. RAM was used as manufactured.)

Has left a very nasty taste in the mouth.

RMA #1192650
