Now I have tried to sign on to xbox live but it won't let me. It keeps saying 'this windows live id is associated with a different gamertag. Enter another windows live id and password'- Now I only have one gamertag apart from the one created by mistake for another profile on my xbox when I tried to sign in from MW2. I then deleted this profile (it had nothing on it as I had only just created it) I re-assigned my profile and could see all my game history.

Do I have to link my windows live id to the xbox live???
