    Wii Fit launches in Japan

You'd think that Nintendo would have mercy on the heavier among us and bring Wii Fit to the USA first but that isn't the case as Wii Fit launched in Japan on December 1st.

I'm far too lazy to be interested in getting fit.

I'm interested to try it just to see how well the exercises actually work and how robust the balance board actually is. If it does achieve what it says on the tin, I think it'll be great!

Well I saw an interview with shigsy and he said the board had been designed to take a lot of beating. Infact they used Regi filles amis for testing(he`s the head of Nintendo of America and a rather large bloke)

All the articles I`ve read about it have said that the board is surprisingly responsive.

Reckon it will be a lot of fun with mates around

I've had a go on something similar in the gym, I was going on the usual stuff but I saw this thing they had in the corner that they were promoting so I had a go. It was basically one of those inflatable balls, well, half a ball, and you had to balance on it. It's surprising how tiring it can get.

Wii fit could hit Sony and Microsoft in the wallet. If it takes off it will shift a lot of units.

Word of warning for all, be careful if you're thinking of buying Wii Fit from Asia. Though I can't confirm it personally, I've read that Japan's Wii Fit is only compatible with NTSC Wii consoles.
