    Screenshots - Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - PC, Xbox 360, PS3

We'd guess that the release of these new Red Alert 3 screenshots, means the beta is just around the corner.

Looks a bit more cartoony than I was expecting.. perhaps trying to draw in the starcraft 2 crowd?

I dunno i think it looks fine, pretty good looking actually. It's not like the previous red alert had a serious look to it.

Since when was the C&C franchise cartoony? Hope they change these first shots to a more serious game like the rest.

I thought that also, id prefer it if it was more like tiberium wars or something. Never known red alert to be cartoony as it was good graphics(i though) back then.

Hopefully its better than expected because i was hopeing more from tiberium wars(although it still good) but it lacks the feel that tiberium sun gave, could of added some more units to and kept things like the cyborgs and commander along with better aircraft for gdi .

    Look at my ratings

I agree. I think this is going to be a flop just like the rest of the C&C Games EA has butchered.

You've decided that on the basis that the graphics aren't quite how you like them?
Meh, they'll never please some people. (Automatic EA hatred gets so booooring)

Personally, I'm really looking forward to this. I've started playing Red Alert 2 again to get myself psyched up for it.

Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it

    Re: Screenshots - Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - PC, Xbox 360, PS3

No ive decided it by playing every other C&C game EA have made. They are no where near as good as the old Westwood Games and im positive this one is the same. They have left out some of the best features of the red alert 2 series. Such as Prism technology, nuke technology etc.

Red alert 2 is still going to be the best game in the C&C franchise. I hope im wrong but im sure im not. And as for playing red alert two first. Don't Cause you will be dissappointed when red alert three comes out and isnt better than red alert 2! All they should do is release red alert two with a new grapghics engine. I'd be happy enough with that.

As for your EA hatred comment. I don't hate EA. They have made some good games. But they have butchered the C&C series. Ask any die hard C&C fan and they will agree.

I do agree with neon and I have been a very big C&C fan over the years.
Generals was a bit meh and then Zero Hour really picked it up, but then EA poorly supported it in typical EA fashion.
C&C 3 showed promise but became boring after a week or 2 (compared to old C&C games that I played for years). They ruined single player with their patches in order to balance multiplayer, you were left with the choice of online or singleplayer. Kane's Wrath is an utter mess, campaign is nothing special and it was released buggy with the stupid desyncing, which has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. The patch is too little too late to fix a game breaking problem and as for all the balancing for online, again they are about to take a poor singleplayer and make it a bunch of crap.

I'm really beginning to question whether I should even bother with RA3, what little faith in EA I may have had has gone. I can only see another disappointment coming.
