hmm, i wouldn't mind a halo 4 TBH...

the halo 3 ending practically set up for another anyway... (even if they did say it was going to be the last)

I'm wondering whether the ending had something to do with MS. Your right that Bungie did say it was going to be the last in the series, but with them going solo and MS holding the Halo name, it wasn't that much of a surprise that Halo 4 would happen.

If Gearbox are developing Halo 4 for the Next gen 360, then it makes sense to have it ready for the launch. My big issue will be if they can't keep the new story in keeping with what has gone before, and that MP is just as important as the solo game.

yeah MSoft are just trying to milk the title for everything it can give...
it was obv that they didn't have plans to stop at number 3 cos of the ways things happened towards the end... there was just too many plot setups...

but with PS3 looking more and more inviting every day MSoft need to cover their backs with mature titles..

Well as long as its not ruined by the company microsoft it will be good. Halo 1 was the best in terms of story/gameplay/detail/graphicly(for its time ofc), then microsoft see this sucess then control bungie and pump out the halo titles earlier then they should be and crapper also, halo2=fail and halo 3=still worse than halo 1 but better than halo2.

Iam sure with a good company like this then halo 4 will be good, i hope they do a bit better for the pc version than the halo port because iam having issues with the game in graphicle lag and stuff which is really annoying since my pc isnt low for it .

No, no you're right and I'm half right! Gearbox worked on Half-Life: Opposing Force, Half-Life: Decay and Half-Life: Blue-shift and various console ports. But it Valve who worked on the main Half Life series!

I must admit I found fighting three types of enemy through miles of identical corridoor, then going back in the opposite direction doing the same thing, completely gripping.

yeah.. that is a really annoying thing in halo...

like on 3 where you just go back and forth killing the same things... in the same building... getting slightly harder each time.. until they are invisible... WOW... fun times
