Disappointing for XBox owners, but no great surprise I guess. There's a limit to how long any company will support old products.

Do these things actually break then, I was under the impression they would still work after a nuclear holocaust.

I've dropped mine several times and it's still going strong. I wouldn't want to do that to my 360, something tells me it may not be quite as robust.

Yeh they are probably the most solid console you will own, i was really annoyed when microsoft failed to pass that on with the 360 as i dont see how it wasnt able to apart from design which IMO id rather have a black box than a good looking thinner box .

MS rushed the 360 to market... It probably has a qtec psu
