    HEXUS. preview:: Sniper Elite

    Ever fancied yourself in Jude Law's role as sniper Vassili Zaitsev in the film "Enemy At The Gates"? Apart from copping off with Rachel Weisz, I mean? Anyway, Rebellion are giving us a chance to be a WW2 sniper in their latest game, Sniper Elite.

    Developed in the UK by Rebellion, Sniper Elite is a realistic World War II sniper simulation which aims (geddit?) to plunge players behind enemy lines on an undercover mission to divert Atomic weapon research from the advancing Soviet Army.
    Check out the preview here.

    I consider myself more of a Private Jackson in SPR.

    Seriously, I love being a sniper. When I played with the O-CuK CoD clan I would always choose a sniper if possible. Will be looking out for this game when it comes out.

    If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

    But Jackson get vapourized in a clock tower... Zaitsev survives the war and gets the girl...

    Actually, Domingo Chavez in 'Clear and Present Danger' was rather cool too...

    I would've like Leon to do more sniping. He died.

    And remember "God" in Navy Seals who shot people through walls with his infrared scope? He got killed too IIRC.

    Even O-Ren Ishii died, after some super anime sniper action!

    Hmm, maybe being a sniper isn't the best thing to be...
