HEXUS. preview:: Game Boy Micro
The original Game Boy Advance (of which I have a clear blue one) fits comfortably into the pocket of a backpack or the leg pocket of the now un-trendy combat jeans that used to be all the rage. The retooled Game Boy Advance SP fits into a coat pocket quite happily, but now Nintendo are aiming to fit a Game Boy into the pocket of your tightest jeans with the tiny Game Boy Micro system, quite simply the smallest and sleekest Game Boy product that Nintendo has ever created... and given my expanding waistline, that could be no bad thing..

Looks far too small to be practical imo. Even for the most nimble fingered gamers it's going to be tricky to play an intense game with any aplomb. I'll stick with my GB DS ta.

looks cool to me. if people happily play games on their phones, which look similarly sized, then they'll have no probs with this.
incidentally, i played a DS in the foyer of the local cinema (nintendo were showcasing a load of DSs and games) and played pacman - where you draw in the pacmans. it was great fun - took a moment to get used to using something other than my thumbs, but it's true - nintendo have created something new and different. good on 'em. |

I'm not so worried about the controls as the size of the screen- surely you'll need a pair of those loupe glasses that surgeons use to see it clearly!
![]() Edit: Built in Lithium Ion battery too. I hope it can be replaced when it dies after a couple of years. Last edited by Rave; 09-06-2005 at 12:43 PM.. |
