Sensible Soccer! It's all going to kick off again in 2006!

The Codemasters have announced the return of the legendary Sensible Soccer and they’ve even got game god Jon Hare onboard for the game design!

Aye, it was great in the 16-bit days, but this was pre-3D and pre-Pro Evo 5.

Hard to see which market they're going for, really. I don't think that camera angle, which is essentially 2D, is going to do them any favours either.

As did I , but nostalgic memory is one thing - whether these games would stand up today is another thing entirely!

It's rather like having fond memories of arcade machines - you play it for 10 minutes with MAME and realise, with all of today's advancements in technology and how games have moved on, it's well...somewhat dated,

Saying that, how many remakes of films did you like if you were a fan of the original?

I'm not so sure sensible soccer, although fun it was, will translate very well to a modern system with modern graphics and so on, id like to be shown i'm wrong though.
Also Cannon fodder was very cool.
