Xbox 360 better than PS3 - from Sony Artist

A 3D artist working for Sony has opened his big mouth and said that the Xbox 360 is better than the PS3

If what he says is true, then just how much damage will this do to sales of the PS3 at launch? The console market can be devastating to any company that produces something the public don't buy in to - just look at the N64. That was a great console, but it was never exploited poperly. Ironic that Sony should have been their nemesis - perhaps that tables will now be turned...

I hope this chap didn't sign a non-disclosure agreement, as I would imagine that well he's going to be in some hot water. If he's attempting to get a name in the gaming industry, I would imagine prospective employers may do well to avoid him.

To an average joe, a comment like this could so Sony some real damage.

I was under the slightly cynical impression that Microsoft deliberately stiffled the supply of the consoles to build-up a frenzy for them... I know of two people that are screwing they have not got theirs yet - one was told he would get his in April! They are after the pack containing the drive, etc, and not a plain console which are supposed to be easier to get hold of.

heh, this wont affect sony's sales very much at all imo anyways, this could be a cover up it could be anything, maybe hes telling the truth maybe not but the fact is that people are going to buy this console, myself included ^ ^

well this is a bit dubious

some dude, who works developing games for the ps3, says the xbox 360 is better. the same dude's name appears on the sony website as an artist, but no proof that its the same bloke or, for that matter, that he still works there or was ever involved in the ps3. he's simply saying that developing for the ps3 is tricky..
