Final Fantasy VIII [8], Awesome looking Spaceship!

Final Fantasy VIII, Awesome looking Spaceship!

Back in 1999 when Final Fantasy VIII [8] was released for the SONY PS-1, I read an article on some nameless games magazine.
Within the article, they had posted a photo of a large, very impressive spaceship that was supposed to be featured in the FF8 game. This craft had similar wings to the Sol Bianca vessel, but it was much larger, more detailed and cooler looking!

Since I’m not a fan of the series and not interested in actually completing the game, I don’t really know anything else about this spaceship. But judging by its impressive design, my guess is that it must play an important role in the game?! (Maybe it’s the main characters’ vessel?!)

I’ve been searching Google Image service and Emule P2P for a hi-res picture of this Space Ship, but since I don’t actually know the name or its role in the FF8 game, I’ve had no luck what so ever!

Please, if anybody could provide me info on this ship, Hi-Res photos, Wallpapers, Flyers, or links, it would be greatly appreciated!

My memory is a bit foggy, but it might have been this red space ship, but I’m not sure! Are there any other similar impressive spaceships in FFVIII, if not then this must be it!

    Thanks in advance.

I loved the Ragnarok, it looks sweet.

Damn you've made me all nostalgic for FFVIII now. That game was pretty awesome, I loved the PS1 FFs.

That highwind looks quite slow compared to the Ragnarok!

    Highwind

And what's with all those Air Ships with the vertically aligned propellers on top?
I see they're featured in almost all Final Fantasy Games!

Here are a few more pics of the Ragnarok Ship:

Here are all the FMVs of VIII. Ragnarok appears in Disc 3.
I've been told that the only other spaceships in the game appear in the same disc?!

Has anyone got any image of the Highwind at the end of FFVII?

Where the emergancy thing has been pressed and the ship breaks apart, I seem to have a vague memory of that looking pretty cool!

I managed to find the PSP before and had a quick bash on VII and there are actually three stages to the Highwind the second stage is where there are rockets on the back of it and then theres the SUPER DUPER rockets in the end FMV!

It is a godly game tho.

I'm sorry, I love FF as much as the next guy, and have a soft spot for the Highwind (especially Cids Limit Break were it fires all those rockets), but the Ragnorock just looks way more badass!
