    Re: Minecraft?

Personally I'm loving the pistons in 1.7 but I'm struggling to include them in existing builds, just not enough room for all the circuits, although repeaters help a bit... Every new building from now though are gonna have whooshing piston doors
You can do some crazy stuff with pistons! Ive seen a secret passageway all the way through a mountain. With pistons moving other pistons, theres no end to what you can do lol.

Circuits also take up way too much space. I don't see how Notch could change them drastically though.

    Re: Minecraft?

Well.. Word on the street suggests possibility of climbing (side of block) red stone! We can only hope, but I think they're focusing alot on the adventure mode atm. I'm personally not overly bothered by that, the appeal of minecraft for me is the satisfaction of getting an idea and seeing it through to the end.. It's like awesome virtual Lego!

    Re: Minecraft?

The creativity aspect is what draws people in I think. You can create virtually anything if you put the effort in. Excellent idea for an original game and Notch is really reaping the rewards now.

    Re: Minecraft?

Came back to the game after not playing for months and fell in love.

As well as the latest update, there is a mod out if I remember that goes by the name "better than wolves" it adds loads of new interesting constructables and usable objects.

One object I cant wait to use is the cement bucket

    Re: Minecraft?

I've had a break recently, now there are new features I think I'm going to play for a while again. Also installed the Okami texture pack - the game looks stunning! Going to install a few other mods too when they have been updated to be compatible with the latest build. Is the MP server still running?
