Well after multiple attempts I've failed to get minecraft running on my eee pc 901
It's still got the original xandros os and I just cannot get java updated.
As much as I do like the eee os I'm going to have to xp on it.
You can get mo'creatures working on multiplayer afaik however everyone does have to have the correct mod's installed.

It didn't fall off, it merely became insufficient at it's purpose and got a bit droopy...
Well I nuked Java and then reinstalled the 64bit version complete with SDK and now it's working fine dude

Anyone able to find out how much RAM would be needed to run it on a Linux server?
Played last night for the first time in a while.
Built a stone..platform 53 x 53 over the water was the base for a castle and then started building one of the walls, only to realise that I didnt actually think through what I was doing, so I may now have a massive wall with a tiny castle/ house in the middle

Well, according to this, it mentions running it on a server with less than 1GB. So I guess it's possible, although it does say "If you have less than 1024MB RAM, the above line may cause problems with swapping and out of memory conditions, which makes the game hard to play".
I'm guessing the more the merrier?

my server uses about 132mb but i'm on windows, can't be much of a difference?
check out multiplay for servers, solid stuff. Have had a server with them for awhile.
Why pay another company when I can have one with my company for free and know it will have a damn good connection?
