I was gunna say Grim Fandango, then I thought.. no, that's a game which really doesn't need a HD facelift.

One game I wish there could be a proper sequel of is Soldier of Fortune 2. I wasted hundreds if not thousands of hours on that game online and was #1 on ESports.net for a while, but no multiplayer game has grabbed me in the same way ever since. It was a combination of the brutal accuracy and well designed maps that did it I suspect, but I can't exactly place my finger on it.

Probably doesn't need much of a HD remake, but i would love to have Theme Park and Theme Hospital. There is Theme Park on the iPad but it is littered with ExtortionAte in app purchase incentives, which is total BS.

Agree. It was the first (and maybe still is) the only game that really used sound well as part of the gameplay. Really, really looking forward to the new Thief when it finally arrives (post next-gen consoles hitting the street). Loved Deus Ex: HR so - assuming it is by the same people, should be awesome.

Play Sonic Generations, though not as good it's still got a similar feel. I'd like to see the Crash Bandicoot games re-made along with Fighting Force and Street Racer!

It's probably utterly academic for me, because if they redid games with better graphics, I'd bet they'd incorporate either Steam or some similar online authorisation scheme, which means I'd end up not buying it anyway, better graphics or not.

That aside, I go along with the Thief series.

I think a lot of games would be interesting if they were truly 3D, the graphics themselves dont really matter much any more - unless we have big leap in quality ( which we have yet to see ) then adding few shadows hardly is going to make any noticable difference.

Besides bad graphics or pixels are sometimes what gave those games their charm in the first place - if space invaders was remade today it would simply not be space invaders any more.
