    Crysis 3

Heads up for anyone who doesn't know - EA have made a boob again. You can unlock Crysis 3 using a far eastern VPN.

I've just played the 1st 5 minutes or so of the single player and its a bit of a resource hog, it looks fabulous for it though.

On my system with my 7970 clocked to 1050/1500 I had to knock the settings down to 'High' (from 'Very High' which it defaulted to), also turned off motion blur and AA. Outside I was getting about 30 - 35 FPS, inside I'm looking at 50 - 60 FPS. But I must stress this is only the 1st 5 minutes of gameplay - it was mostly just a heads up to say - Go and play it

    Re: Crysis 3

I've not modded Crysis 2, but the vanilla DX11 version doesn't look even 75% as good but it does run pretty much 60fps with all goodies ticked on my system.

I've switched it off and gone back to playing FarCry 3, otherwise it won't get completed which would be a shame.

The MaLDo 4 mod is impressive and really puts Crytek to shame, when you consider the patches they released for Crysis2.

    Crysis 3.

    Re: Crysis 3

holy moly that looks epic , I tried the alpha and beta but multiplayer is so bad I have said to myself I wont preorder it since I was disappointed with crysis 2. I dont understand why they have such an effcient engine(or so they claim) that they fixate on providing a small combat area, crysis 1 and warhead had the vast maps with loads of sector control with vehicles, I enjoyed that but now its just an arcade spray and pray, cod skinned .

Hopefully singleplayer is good though, judging by those screenshots I will need a new gpu before I get this haha, 460 needs to be retired!.

It looks better than the Crysis 3 MP Beta!!

It will be interesting to see how the current generation of cards will handle it TBH.

Considering that the MaLDo 4 is one person doing all of it,the mod still looks much better that Crysis2. It just shows how much of a crap job Crysis2 was TBH,and that uses the same engine as Crysis3.

    MaLDo 4 Beta picture.

    MaLDo 4 Final pictures.
