    I've always been surprised that they didn't change their name. "Spy" isn't exactly the best word to use when it comes to software these days.

    I thought these had quietly died years ago, guess they just went quiet.....and then died!

    I only discovered it recently - my friend was using it for AoE3 when he had a slightly less than genuine license key...
    It didn't pick up some of my steam games at first, but it was easy just to browse for the EXEs manually, and it's worked seamlessly (so far!).

    gamespy is a great old service. gona miss it but it wasn't with out its flaws dame Dawn of War with its connection issues
