Interesting, but I wish Bethesda would get a move on with Fallout 4 before it releases this!
Fingers crossed hoping it'll be good! It makes me wonder how the PC version compares with the PS4 and XBO version.
After the abject misery that accompanied buying a 6800gt to play the dross that was doom 3 I really can't get excited about this. So much so I'm Hi even going to watch the trailer in case I start getting my hopes up again.
Hope it doesn't have the pointless jumpscares like the last one because in Doom 3 it was more like knowing where they can come from and all we need to do was quick snap aim shoot for the kill.
Really hoping this is going to be a big title with a lot of thought behind it.....the franchise deserves it for being such an innovator at the beginning....but as others have said, Doom 3 was quite a let down....

Another one here looking forward to it, but I really wonder how far the series can be taken. I like the setting, but I can hope....
I can honestly say Doom 3 is the only game to ever genuinely scare me (actually that's not honest, Amnesia did it too). I'm hoping this can do the same.

Did anybody ever play the expansion to doom3. I thought it was a bit short, and it was just very samey and not very inspired.
Something tells me this game is going to be a huge disappointment.
pffft doesn't come close to Brutal Doom!
I really really hope Doom 4 is more Doom2² than Doom 3+1. Towards the end of Doom3 it literally became, see empty room, walk into empty room, monsters teleport into empty room, repeat.
I want Doom 4...
to actually have open spaces
to have hundreds of enemies
to be fast and frantic
to be visually interesting, that is, not necessarily pitch black.
That's what I want it to be, but if I am honest, I do not think it will be that. I would love to be proved wrong.
Quakecon Doom response here, they appear impressed Ear muffs on if you're offended by swearing btw!
More melee focused and coming to consoles. I have to say I'm a little worried...
I've also read that it was demoed using a controller, but I can't find a reliable source for that.
I always come away disappointed from teasers, they don't show any game footage and never seem to have much to do with the game..
