Re: What games couldn't you finish?

    • Never finished the main story quest in Skyrim, got sidetracked with the mods then lost interest.
    • Got bored of New Vegas, I should really give it another chance though, I completed Fallout 3 a few times.
    • Watchdogs ... loved the gameplay hated the story.
    • Beyond 2 Souls, got tired of the gameplay, but should really finish that off I think I only had a couple hours left to go.

One game that bugs me to this day I never finished was James Bond Tomorrow Never Dies, you're in Elliots building looking for the red box thing, young me never even thought to look behind the picture frame, you know, like in the film ^.^

Persona 4 Golden, absolutely love that game, it's been over a year since I started playing.... But I cannot finish it. Mainly I don't want to finish it, i'll be sad once it's done.

Its a great game I was sad to finish it too. Strangely I can't get into persona 3 despite being around 10hours in and trying it twice it just hasn't grabbed me the same way persona 4 did

I would say Skyrim. Installing hundreds of custom areas and quests and there are just to many to do xD

Same. Still haven't finished it yet. I should probably give it a proper run-through.

Re: What games couldn't you finish?

Are you asking about getting to the end of the story or completing the game with 100% achievements collected?

I don't tend to do 100%'s in games but do tend to go for completing the story.

There are a few games where I go back to play them for a while because they are that much fun that they are worth keeping installed for those casual pick up and play moments like Just Cause 2.

Recently there have been a few games that I started and then never played beyond the first level:
    Thief
    Dishonoured
    Watchdogs
    Splinter Cell: Blacklist

I couldn't complete Assassins Creed: Revelations due to it reaching a point in the game where it always crashes regardless of which PC I run it on and I've tried 3 PCs but Ubisoft are telling me it's an issue with the installation and not the game so I gave up.

Not finished the campaigns in BF3 or BF4 and I'm sure there are more.

Oh god no I'm not including all the daft side quests, mini games and 'collectibles' lol. In most games I make a point of ignoring them as they are usually boring, repetitive or pointless (or a mixture of all three). Watchdogs is a perfect example - the mind numbing poker mini games, tedious side missions and so on - too many supposed open world games just fill these lovingly crafted worlds with banality when they'd be better off putting more effort into making the story missions bigger and more open. Although the main missions and overall story in Watchdogs were dire to begin with so that doesn't help (in fact now that I'm thinking of it Ubisoft are probably the biggest sinner here). Some games have done a better job of making these missions feel like part of the overall game - the example that comes to mind as I'm playing it at the moment is Shadow of Mordor.
