Anyone know why this costs 60-quid in the PSN store (UK) but on Amazon £48.91??

Because Amazon represents such a huge market they can drive down prices and force publishers to sell at lower margins. This isn't much liked by the publishers, but seeing as many people still buy physical copies of console games, and Amazon have such a large share of the market, there's little they can do about it.

I was feeling silly as I setup my PSN (store) account, having purchased my first online Ps4 game 2-days ago - Transistor.

About 2 weeks ago I ordered Need for Speed from Amazon, and had it delivered to my Aunt in London; it may be another 2-3 month wait before they visit me in Colombo.

...and how silly do I feel seeing NFS in the PSN UK store, couple quid that Amazon's list! That'll teach me some patience for sure.

£60 quid is rather steep - I tend to tire of (some) games quickly. The few that I do play to the very end are MGS/Resident Evil, that sort. I'll try download Diablo III sometime around Christmas.

Its not too bad if its the full game and expansion. I have well over 300 hours in the original game and expansion so far over the last two years.

Wow... Oh another bit of shaming I used to be a huge blizzard fan, StarCraft, WarCraft, WoW etc. But never got into Diablo. I should get Diablo 3 shouldn't I ;-)
