Skyrim, couldn't get into Oblivion.
Oblivion By far!
Morrowind, by far. Its much more immersive than Oblivion and Skyrim.
Here it is summed up in one picture: http://lollegends.com/wp-content/upl...aW-510x383.jpg
Oblivion. My first real open-world experience.
Morrowind, without a shadow of doubt. It looks very dated today, so I guess you have to be an old fart like me, who caught it when it was launched. If you are one of those, you'll know how truly revolutionary it was: an entirely open world, in which you could do whatever you liked, or indeed nothing at all - and still have fun for weeks, months or years, courtesy of a legion of modders.
And the music....my god, the music. I think the soundtrack blew me away almost as much as the game.
Oblivion for me. Perfecting my leveling up not to waste any points. Killing everything in the Arena. Finding all of the hidden treasures in the seas & lakes...
Definitely Oblivion, however morrowind is pretty great too
I started on skyrim and its my fav i tried oblivion but it wasnt near the same
Only played Skyrim but I hear Oblivion is really good!
Oblivion was a great game, many hours lost in that realm.
Yeah i feel you would need to have played oblivion before skyrim to appreciate what oblivion brought to the table. The ultimate was to have lost many days playing in morrowind and then move onto the beautiful rendered scenes that where oblivion to really appreciate what it brought to the table.
My first Elder scrolls game was Oblivion, I think I've played around 1200 hours and I found it the most enjoyable. With Skyrim though I've sunk at least 500 hours into and have enjoyed it. I got Morrowind on steam during the Xmas sale and I'm half terrified of losing myself in that!
Morrowind is still the best for me. And thanks to the butt load of mods you can play it today without any problems (though I"ll admit the combat is a bit wonky).
