Kicking myself I didn't grab it when it was half price for the last week. Saw the DVD version on Amazon for £23 ish, but I presume that'll want steam as well?

How's the sound and music? Recently got a pair of DT 990 Pro and looking for something to give them a good workout.

Also, does anyone know how it'll work with an AMD MSI r9 390? I have a high Hz 1080p panel so looking for a good game for that too - haven't gamed on it much.

Not too bad - I have a pair of PC350SE and the game seems to have good sound effects.

It still bit expensive for me, I usually don't mind waiting for games, especially if in the end I can get game and all DLCs for less than £15.

Just finished it (PS4) good game, I don't think I'll replay it for trophies or anything and it's a steel book so I'll pop it for sale.

Overall I enjoyed it, lots of big arena type battles, some easy, some frustratingly difficult but it's always fun to shoot demons!

Get it now, you could try to get it a bit cheaper on eBay

Re: Buy Doom now or later?

They dropped the prices very quick for DOOM, so I don't think it will get much cheaper any time soon. Worth waiting for the other Christmas sales though (GMG, bundle stars etc.).
There's a demo available if you're unsure, it's a great game IMO, very fluid gameplay and runs incredibly well.
