    Buy Doom now or later?

Is the game worth it now or should I wait for a sale?

Totally worth getting now. I paid £23 for it and don't regret it at all. Brilliant fun!

Re: Buy Doom now or later?

I think i'm late for that GMG deal since it's showing up as £39.99 for me. Unless there's a code or something I'm missing? If I have missed it then I guess I'll wait because I still need to buy a GPU I'm just waiting for the aftermarket 480's to be released.

Instant Gaming have it for £23 at the minute which is a good price, bought a few things from them and never any issues

It's not bad, played a bit of both MP and SP on the PS4 and it looks good and runs fantastically. Storyline is the usual thin excuse to kick some demonic ass but I don't think anyone would expect otherwise!

Paid £35 for the CE, so I now have to find a purpose for a light up statue of a Revenant, I'm sure the wife will love it on the mantelpiece

Re: Buy Doom now or later?

This is the first game that's tempted me to give in and get Steam.

    But not tempted me enough.

Sadly, there seems to be no way to play without Steam. No legal way anyway, and I'm not interested in cracks.

Oh well. Chez Saracen will continue to be a Doom, and Steam, free zone.

£35 for the Collectors Edition? Very good deal! It was going for £100 on pre-order without the season pass..!

I think the manager wanted rid of someone's pre order that didn't get picked up, fine by me! Statue is kinda cool but I really have nowhere to put it. It will go along side my Brotherhood of steel figure in a plastic box under the bed probably

I'd wait and pay a tenna, didn't think much of the demo tbh but is worth £10.

Wait and see if goes onto GOG. For example there are DRM free versions of games like W3:

    https://www.gog.com/game/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt

It might be a good site to keep a track off.
