    Firewatch

I received a copy of Firewatch at Christmas. I thought it sounded interesting but never looked into it in great detail.

Wow, what a game. Really refreshing way of telling a story. I thought it was going to be as it says on the tin. Look out for fires, try and put them out before the forest burns down or something.

It's not. What it is, is an interactive thriller set in an open-world environment. The level of detail and story telling is immense. It is though, very, very short, only taking me 5 hours to complete. Although I will replay it and make different decisions.

Stream it to your big-screen TV, sit back with a joypad and settle in for an enjoyable experience.

    Re: Firewatch

Firewatch is a nice story and I love the art direction of the environment it was a beautifully crafted game. I enjoyed it too. Sometimes a short game scratches an itch 200 hour open world could never do.
