    Exclamation Blaupunkt Sound System

    Hi there!

I have just bought a new sound system. I have a Melbourne SD27 player, Fli Trap 800W Sub and an American Legacy 1000w amp. got it all connected but i can't find anywhere that sells the leads needed to jump into the iso connector so that the sub works as the SD player doesn't have any place to plug the sub into.

Was just wondering if anyone knows what wires i need and were i can get them from??

What you'd normally have to do is split one of the rear speaker outputs, one to the speaker and the other to a Line Output Converter (LOC) or the high level inputs on your sub's inputs.

That would give the sound to your amp which can then do the work of driving the sub.

Car Audio Direct should be able to provide you with the bits you need.

    Re: Blaupunkt Sound System

What you would do in that situation is leave the speakers wired to the headunit, so the inbuilt amp powers them, and then simply power the sub from the amp in the boot.

The bit you need is a LOC - Line Output Converter.
