Ultra small MP3 player recommendations

My Creative MuVo seems to have kicked the bucket and I'm looking to replace it. The ideal unit would have:

Internal lithium battery
Be equivalent size and weight to a MuVo
USB 2.0
256+ Mb capacity
£60 or less

I'm not exactly picky about it being the most amazing sound quality but if some of you who have good knowledge have recommend something that gives a decent volume and quality like the MuVo I'd very much appreciate it!

I'm currently browsing all the wild and wacky models on Ebuyer. None I'm interested in are in stock though

Looks like I'm opting for an Ipod Shuffle...can get one for £63, 512Mb version. Should suit me very well

i have listened to both and would say the shuffle has better sound quality, both tested on the packaged headphones

The new sony mini-MP3 players are awesome. My mate just got one that is a little thicker and wider but shorter than the shuffle, has a screen, bass boost, chrome and runs for 70 hours on a AAA battery for £120. The shuffle is good for some but not so good for many other people.

why not try the creative muvo slim? i've had one for about 6 months, and can truely say they are very good. the quality is ace and the screen is nice too. i'd find the shuffle too restrictive, and i think that its very plasticy (the slim is made of metal). its also not as sexy, trust me, you wont believe how slim the slim is.. it also has an ace battery life (16 hours in real life use) and appears as a usb drive (and charges off usb too). downsides? not as large capacity as the shuffle

get another muvo. sound quality kicks ipod's ass. I have a 4gb muvo 2 and use it constantly. you can also get a 5gb version.

i'd say sound quality is in the ear of the beholder .... and the headphones that come with the aiwa are crap .. put some desent ones on and you'll be eating your hat

I personally have to recommend the Zen Micro. The earphones have a great "bassy" dynamic response, and max volume is very loud, yet the buds do not crackle one bit. FM radio and voice recorder are fairly good also. It really depends on whether you want to go for a solid state player or a micro HDD player. The iPod shuffle is okay, but personally, I like to choose and see what I'm listening to, not a fan of random play, especially in dance mixes.

Whatever player you get, it's worth getting decent earphones anyway to get the best out of the it.

I have an Aigo f186... it's a bit over your budget, BUT it's small, internal battery, charges up on the USB or mains, radio and 256MB mp3. Sound quality on packaged headphones is great too

I've had my eye on those for some months now, they look awesome, i need to try one out

Which are still cool, but i'd pay the extra for the E40X series
