    Church for Xmas

Out of curiosity how many of you visit church around xmas time, even if it's just for the chritsmas eve carol service? until we started spending xmas in france we went to the carol service on the 24th and the main service on the 25th

Used to go when I was younger, and the only reason I went was because I was forced to by mother *shakes fist*

It always felt awkward standing there singing, oh and it smelt funny

I used to be forced into going to church as a kid, but to tell you the truth I actually enjoy it when i get the chance these days. I find that the xmas eve carol service was the moment where the christmas spirit really hit me and without it getting into the swing of things isn't so easy

Not for me personally. Used to get forced as a kid and I hated it then and hate it now.

Each to their own though, especially in the festive season

lol, the church I go to is well fun anyway, my housemate (complete rock legend) plays electric guitar nearly every week, its almost concert-esque! :-D

It feels well weird though trying to persuade my parents to come to church for the midnight service when everyones complaining of it being the other way round!

No chance of getting me to church. I often end up having a better night out on Christmas Eve rather than New Years Eve, looking forward to it tomorrow night.
