I agree with Zak33, as bad as London is, it STILL has some class parks.

So I'm going to be spending tomorrow with my girlfriend in Green Park nice and early at about 10:30am to about 4pm with some Malibu and coke for good measure.

    I can't wait!

I hope it's nice next weekend; me and the other TeamFishies are heading to a nice cottage in the middle of wales to chill, relax and possibly go through a few scripts.

But yes, sitting somewhere nice and quiet and remote with a drink (not necessarily alcoholic) on a warm summer evening, with any of the Cafe Del Mar compilation CDs quietly playing in the background with friends and/or family is my idea of a nice time.

Here's to summer, here's to us, here's to whoever you are enjoying whatever you want

I'll second that, finished work a couple of hours early a few weeks ago and happened to go up Woodhouse lane - sunshine is good!

Zak33 wish you had posted some of your description of the countryside in a thread I start last year So what is Great about Britain?, IMHO there were to many negative post - I think it's one of the problems with the internet: people think you're taking the micky when you're not (and vice versa).

I was at a BBQ last week - Roll on summer

London Parks? Hell yeah! I have just come in from Wimbledon Common on my bike and the weather was great! The common was busy with people out enjoying it. I think a BBQ is in order tomorrow! I am feeling very happy to at the moment! No dogs though.

What a nice picture you paint . Sadly the reality for me is loads of chavs holding drinking parties on the green outside my house till 2 in the morning, screaming kids in gardens all day long, windows thrown wide open all day and all night with loud music blaring through them, all playing something different and seeing who can play it the loudest. I used to love sprig/summer till i moved here , now i cant enjoy my garden and have to sit with my windows shut if i want any kind of peace ..so for me roll on winter , very sad to say.

I've got to do the garden, I've got to mown the lawn. I've got to tidy up, I've got to pack, I've got to finish this review too.

I've got too much to do.

But I still want to go out for a blast in the car tomorrow. I've renamed the little sport button.

    Its now just called 'animal'

Anyone else think Zak should be the Hexus laureate?

The past couple of weeks have been glorious, the fresh green colour of the beech woods, watching the frollicking in the fields, now rain on St George's Day

I just moved to Brussels in February and people kept telling me how beautiful it is where I live and kept thinking "Get a grip!" but suddenly the place has burgeoned and it really is beautiful. What I thought were sticks are green leafy shrubs, the dead ivy on my wall turns out to be wisteria, climbing roses and grape vines.

Adnittedly I always knew that our Avenue would be pretty, but I had no idea how pretty. We have a long avenue with 180 year-old trees which turn out to be mainly a combination of beech, copper beech, elm and walnut. The colour is fabulous (and the leaves keep some of the bird crap off my car).

Many people don't know that a child, with branches of coral nailed to his head and painted brown, resembles a deer.
