    Procrastination diary

A view of the life I now lead. Anyone else have a similar day?

    Procrastination diary

    08:00 arrive at work
08:05 leave work in search of bacon butty
08:15 return to work with butty, make tea
08:30 having finished tea and butty, wipe down desk to remove irritating crumbs that stick to your forarms
08:30-9:20 visit digg.com and look at all the pretty articles that have appeared overnight.
09:20 open up applications required to do work
09:30 (yes they take that long to load) check out your RSS feeds on iGoogle with the latest beaver and steve, dilbert (cliche!) and bunny.frozenreality.co.uk.
09:40 check to see if digg has updated.
    09:50 pester secretary
10:00 make more tea. Remember after 15 cups time starts to slow... Either that or you're spending more time in the bathroom releving yourself.
10:15 write procastination diary for Hexus
10:30 Post procastination diary to Hexus
10:35 check out work forums to see what everyone is upto, read a few jokes. Post clippings from digg to people in office.
10:50 time to eat what you brought from home for lunch. mmm, pre-lunch.
11:00 spend some time raiding the chocolate machine. Perfect to practice your elite lockpicking skills.
11:15 having failed to pick the lock and being disturbed by your boss, spend the next 45 minutes reading up on Ruby in the hope of creating a world class website which you can sell for zillions of pounds and retire a happy man next door to the playboy mansion.
    12:00 lunch!
    13:ish email checking time.
14:30 make a start on urgent tasks for work... or visit the WC.
15:00 help people with various office related problems, including IT support
15:50 pack up and make a run for your car - it's home time!

I was going to keep a procrastination diary, but I kept putting it off. Badum tish etc.

My days can be similar, actually.. we tend to vary from zero to do or stupid-crazy-no-time-to-think modes with very little middle ground. Hmmm.

Thats a big chunk of the day to walk around smelling like a Turkish wrestlers pants mate. Suggest:

    07:45 get up.
    07:50 brekky.
    08:00 shower.

I'm with Funkstar on this one.

No point in showering in the morning if you're just gonna come home smelling of pipes anyway is there... i think it's quite sensible to be honest.
