Need to contact someone, is there any way to find their number?

    Hi,

I really desperately need to get in touch with someone today, I know their address but no phone number. They don't show up in directory enquires unfortunately, is there any other way to get a phone number from an address?

It's an individual so I don't think I'm going to find anything.

If there's some sort of directory enquiries that finds everything that's what I'm after.

    Thanks,

    now it went right.

But if it's not in the BT phonebook they wont be able to find it will they?

Or can you give them an address and get a phone number?

I know this is radical, and I know you said today.... but a letter would reach there tomorrow if you know the address

Rather irrelevently it wouldn't actually because of the postal strike starting this evening!

But I can go to the person's house this evening anyway as it's only a 30 min drive away but I would like to get hold of them on the phone before if it is possible. It's not critical to get hold of them before but if there is a way then it would be of benefit.

    Thanks,

    Tim

    Don't count on it.

There's 2 weeks of "staggered" industrial action by RM workers which will more than likely have an effect on postal services.
