Facebook is being sued for deleting sex offender pages? Or did I add up the wrong statements because that makes a lot of logic

It's a social networking site (I guess, its closest counterpart is MySpace) but a lot more centered around networking and contacting buddies, people in your area, people from your school/organization etc. It's really fast and smooth and doesn't go "LOL MYSPACE ERROR HAS OCCURED" once every 3 pages >_>

Naturally it's clean and slick to use but everyone has the girls on their facebook friends list who adds every single Facebook App that is released (customizes your page with widget-type things). There are a few cool ones, but having over 30 of them is just super lame.
