    Hollyoaks.

Am I the only person who will risk physical injury to dive across the room, grab the Sky remote, and turn over as quick as is humanly possible, to avoid having to watch a zepto second of Hollyoaks?

And have you noticed, how those sick bastards at channel 4 put it on straight after the Simpsons? Sometimes I go to get a cuppa when the Simpsons ends, forgetting to turn over, and return to the TV to find Hollyoaks has started, and I have no choice but to endure several real seconds of it, while I turn over.

Just happened then - textbook error. Simpsons ends, went to get the paper, came back, as I was approaching the room, I can hear the unmistakeable tones of the opening theme. It’s like being asleep in the desert and hearing a Rattlesnake somewhere close...

Its got to the stage where the 20th Century Fox jingle that plays at the end of the Simpsons puts me on edge now - I enter a state of high alertness, my fight or flight responses kick in, my pulse increases, muscles tense, eyesight and hearing become finely tuned... all in preparation of turning over before Hollyoaks starts.

    Crap innit?

I like hollyoaks.. sorta.. I bloody hate the new starting, its terrible. It's also very annoying how they have new people on it every other week. Then there is the odd cheapness.

Apart from that it can be pretty good at times, especially with the whole Clair thing.. and with Warren and that.. but stuff like with whats her name (Amy?) with the baby and Josh.. I just find that annoying to watch really.

I'm with you Stewart, although I do watch neighbours religiously. But that's got Australian women, making it a damn sight better than the tarts in Hollyoaks.

Actually, the quality of women in Neighbours and Home and away is very good. Usually a 8.5 out of 10 at least, with a few 9s running about in bikinis. Maybe the odd MILF as well.

Still couldn't watch an entire episode though - Harrold banging on about his new trousers (Didn't he die in 1988?), or Alf banging on about his new shoes (why didn't he die in 1988?)

Its TV for the hard of thinking.

Hollioaks I have gone off entirely, but I think it's part of the growing up process as it was practically a religion in my student house .

Neighbours has some cracking women; I'm particularly fond of the MILF to end all MILFS - Izzy.

I categorically refuse to watch that utter tripe for one second. The missus loves it which means I either change the channel a'la bully style and force her to watch Mythbusters or something or skulk off to my study to do something else.

I wouldn't mind if they hired better actors at least, I mean come on what do they do just have a day out at Top Shop every month or two and lay a trail of Smarties back to the recording studio? Jeeze.
