The gadget shop does a cheap dec phone that look like the sony ericoson t310 and maplin had a special offer on a nice looking dec phone as well for around the £30 mark. Try both of them

Got a swish Ericsson digital cordless phone up here, connects to the Philips digital cordless base station downstairs for intercom facilities
Panasonic phones are good IMO.
