i thought this was going to be a serious post when i first saw the title, i was going to ask does anyone shop around during the year and change or do they stay with the same company for the whole year ?

if you try to change midway through on a UK policy you need to check the get out clause, normally you lose any remaining money if you want to stop the policy, or only get a percentage of what you would be expecting.
