    New vegetable discovered....free range eggs!

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6954900.stm

    WTF?

Since when are eggs, free range or otherwise, a vegetable? I know that some vegetarians eat eggs, but aside from that being daft, surely you can't deny something 'vegetarian suitable' status because they hens weren't free range!?

Bloody daft if you ask me.

Mars bars are suitable for vegetarians, but they can't carry a particular logo that has higher than "just suitable" standards.

    It's that simple, really.

Oh, and for every animal you don't eat, I'm going to eat three.

OP - I think you are going to have a hard time reading any sort of logic into this sort of thing - you are dealing with veggies.

People who claim eating meat, as man has done for thousands of years, isn't right all of a sudden, because they don't think so.

People who claim that fish is neither an animal nor a form of meat.

People who claim some animals can lay vegetables, apparently, although to be fair, as some veggies also eat chicken, its safe to assume that, like fish, chicken is neither an animal nor a meat either. Soon, I suppose cows, pigs and sheep will be considered non-animal, non-meat products by veggies, and only ripping chunks of flesh out of a still living baby Chimpanzee, with your teeth, will be considered eating meat.

Beyond beliving in God, you can't get a more irrational or illogical people than veggies. They CHOOSE not to eat bacon sarnys!

They decide not to eat meat, then pay money for veggie food that has been made to look like meat. They expect other people to cook a special meal for them, because of their illogical lifestyle choice. While children in their millions starve to death in povety in Africa, they think they are so righteous as to be next to God, because they don't buy some ham from Tesco.

Don't expect normal human standards of logical thought from these people.

You have eggshelled yourself with this thread.

Anyway, following on from what Nick was saying about Mars bars,

King sized Mars bars make ideal normal sized Mars bars, for giants. Normal sized Mars bars make ideal King sized Mars bars for dwarfs, as well as fun-sized ones for giants.

Fun sized Mars Bars make ideal normal sized Mars Bars for midgets.
