    V quick MCP question

    I have just done a transcender and got 72% on installing, configuring and administering Windows XP pro now i know the tests will have different questions to the real exam but what % is considerd a pass on the real thing? Im waiting till i get 90ish % on each of my practice tests b4 i even think of doing the real thing but just wanted to know cheers

    it sounds silly but the practice tests will only help you once or twice as after that you start to learn the answers.

    You'll only know when you know the topic well enough.

    Unless I'm much mistaken the "pass mark" for the MCP exams is lower than that. Substantially lower.

    Its often up to the person reading the CV, some people (like me) generally skim past them as 'useless' for a developer, whilst some of my (former) colleuges considered them a pre-requisit.

    So the main thing is if your able to get a 90%+ mark, it will look really good on your CV, as long as having it is pertinant to the roll your applying for.

    (and if you get a good %, be sure to put it on your CV, in bold).
