Awesome Lego Shoot Em Up & Sci-Fi creations

There’s is quite a few Shmup and Mecha LEGO concepts here:

Very cool and impressive I found the Ulysses / Odysseus 3000 Star ship:

    This sturdy looking battle cruiser:

This awesome air ship looks like something straight out of Steel Empire:

And this 6 legged spider Mecha is similar to the 4th level Boss in 1945 Strikers II.

Only thing missing are the Planet Destroyers, the Akon Kaguya and the mighty Flagship Traverser from Gall Force Series:

I'd love to have the money and time to buy and play with all that lego! What would be cool would be if those model makers supplied the instructions and what bits you need to make the various models.

A man after my own heart. If only I didn't have to pay a mortgage and feed the wife and kids I'd be doing the same thing.

Sometimes, just sometimes you get lucky and find something worth building.

well there was that sugar-based printer () on here a while back that while it was home made was a nice insight into whats possible... although i don't think the technology was anything couldn't have been done 10 years ago in the same way, so the question is why has no-one yet?

I'd also have a large scalectrix too. I've never forgiven my mum for giving away all the track I had as a kid. No wonder I can't sit still on a beach, I have to build a sandcastle. Aged 34 with a mental age of about 6.

We recently moved house to one with a garage and an attached shed complex. Part of the deal was that mrs mycarsavw would let me (and the boy) use the sheds for boys toys. Scalectrix will be installed soon, along with pool table.

As for the beach, I force the boy to play with me making castles and digging the biggest hole on the whole beach. I get annoyed when he wants to go for a swim and I'm still building, too
