    dual core?

Stupid question but just swapped my old cpu for a dual core x2 4200+...

how do I get win2k to recognise the second core.. taskmanager just shows the one.

my brother done the same thing a few months ago.. not sure how he done it.. but also after he said it was unstable...so he put vista on... prefer not to reinstall but i will test what ever he did first.. anyone know how?

a repair install may be the best way, but 1st i would try updating the driver to multiprocessor ACPI and see how you go.

just be prepared for a repair install if it doesnt work .

    Absolutely Clunk. You da man.

Many people don't know that a child, with branches of coral nailed to his head and painted brown, resembles a deer.
