Revenge
Best suggestions please
I'm having trouble with 2 of my housemates...1 always leaves dirty dishes in the sink and denies they are his and the otehr is just a messy SOB and basically takes stuff for granted Last night they both went out and came back at 4am.....qaking me up before playing loud music only stopping after I said I would call the police as it is both in contravention of the tenancy agreement and ASBO warranting (which if one got an ASBO would be in a lot of trouble from his rich parents) It's the third time and I am sick of it, if they were considerate I would let it go but the fact that they are stupidly selfish takes the piss (like speaking so loudly when they came in the house I could hear them through 3 THICK firedoors/4 walls and leaving crap all over the kitchen...twice I have cleaned it up now as I won't put up with it) I want to get back at the bar stewards....plain and simple, something along cruel but funny etc so that I can get just them but others find it funny Any ideas? So far I have a 6/7am foghorn or similar loud music (probably metal as he cant stand it) to one of them, or hiding some nasty food in the others room for leaving dirty stuff in the kitchen |

Re: Revenge
When I was a student.. had a running 'Prank' battle with some flatmates. One of the funniest was :
I had a novelty watch with a 'crowing rooster' alarm. I took the innards out and hid it inside one guy's light fitting in his bedroom. It was set to go off at 4:30 am. By the time he had been woken up, and started looking for the source of the noise, it stopped, as it only went off for a minute. For the first few nights he thought he was going mad ... |

Hiding all his underwear and replacing with some ladies knickers?
Stapling trouser legs together? Hiding every right shoe of any pairs he has ? Hiring a male stripper when he has his family round - to perform on his behalf? |

Re: Revenge
Write a letter to MI5 'from' your flatmate, demanding under the Freedom of information act, to know everything they know about him. They will then automatically open a file on him. You can then laugh evilly when men in suits come to ask him awkward questions
(or is that going a bit far.... )

Re: Revenge
We had a housemate who was exactly the same - took weeks to do any washing up, and when he eventually did it..it was just still dirty (anything he 'washed' was always covered in grease). Was just as untidy, not caring at all about anyone but himself, and even himself not very much considering the state his room was always in.
Anyway, as for getting back at him..well all our rooms had yale locks on them - so obviously its childs play to break in to any room in the house with a credit card or key+hammer So what we did was whenever he left some dirty plates, or some food packaging on the side of the kitchen etc, and he was out, we would open his door and just put it all under his bedclothes (regardless of whether the food remains were wet/sticky or not). That was fun =) combined with my other housemate we also constantly had a go at him and threatened to move out multiple times..Each 'attack' or so made him clean up for a few days before stopping..and the cycle continued...so I guess it didn't work really. at the end of the day we couldnt complain too much really, as although myself and my other housemate were clean + tidy, we did make the house smell a bit from all our ahem 'baking' that year..so balanced out in the end really.

Re: Revenge
don't act like a kid and look for revenge.
Look for somewhere new to live and leave them to find a 3rd person to help pay the rent.
It is Inevitable.....

Re: Revenge
Floorboard up, prawns in.
Laxatives. Fill a large envelope with shaving foam. Poke the open end under their door and stamp on the envelope. Do this when they're asleep. Leave a small blob of butter near their radiator. Hide a glass of milk somewhere. Sleep with their sister/mum There's something about vinegar, baking soda and a toilet but that may be taking it too far |

Re: Revenge
OK Cheers for all the replies
for implications about parents won't work...both are international students and their family have never visited before so the 'your parents are coming' stuff won't work We generally have communal pans etc (well they use everyone elses, I made sure it was ok and make sure they are spotless afterwards) so that is less likely to work The food thing may work....the beds are like blocks with matresses on so if I was to chuck something underneath they wouldn't find it.... Lee I might try the hair removal in the shampoo....would be absolutely hilarious as he takes loads of care of his hair! Ikonia.....I'm not wanting to move out, the place is right next to uni, fairly nice area and I get on well with my other housemates (there are 6 of us in total so it's 2 spoiling it for everyone else) and I don't see why just because they can't clean up we should be forced to live like slobs, I AM tempted to dump ALL the rancid food he tries to pour down the sink in his room though (other thing is if I was to try and find someone to live with now it would be a nightmare as uni started a few weeks ago) as for toilet distruction...the door for it is next to my room so I don't think so ![]() And I might just do that Paul, I'm thinking about the hair removal to start with
