    Meh, lived rough & squatted for 8, 9 months (cant remember tbh), trust me, the experience is overated.

    AFAIK Jiff prefers sleeping on his keyboard at work to sleeping on his own bed, so I can't see how this is a hardship for him.

    The man's still a legend though, so if he'd care to break his silence and tap me up for some sponsorship, he knows what to do.

    I dont know anyone involved, but when I was still at school, we took part in a similar event up here - the Aberdeen Cyrenians organised sleepout.

    Each year we went, we took a coachload of pupils and we were always the largest group and the group that was sponsored the most money - and for one night, it was quite good fun, until about 5:30am - when its almost 7pm and time to leave, but theres no point in trying to get any sleep - its an odd 60mins that one!

    Doh, only just found about this thread - *really* must try and find time to lurk here more often.

    Byte Night has so far netted £304,389.26, with more money still to come in.
