It is kind of pathetic when you analyse it.

They don't want Iran to gain nukes because they might use them. Who's the only country to have used nukes to kill people?

They accuse Iran of supporting terrorism:
in Iraq - Legitimate resistance to an occupation army.
In Palestine - resistance to an occupation army. (legitimate, but occasionally appalling)
In Lebanon - Well, OK. Semi-legitimate, still opposing an illegal occupation army.
Afghanistan - I don't know much about that one, but I'll bet it's not so clear cut as the yanks say it is.

Well. Ahmadinejad's finger may hover, but it's nowhere near any nukes button, as they don't have any.

As I have said before, if we don't want British and American troops killed they shouldn't be occupying a foreign country following an aggressive invasion that killed anywhere up to a million innocent people. For oil. Because our Prime Minister lied to us.

But they are taking the first steps, and a country with a leader who says the sort of things Ahmadinejad has been saying has to be stoped before its taken enough steps to build the bomb.

Every side in this situation is engaged in clandestine activity against each other. It's been going on for a long, long time - that's politics. No country (including the West) ever comes up smelling of roses if you analyse its activities in this kind of theatre.

My opinion (I could be wrong) is that we won't see overt U.S. military action against Iran yet.. more likely, I think, is an Israeli strike perhaps using (let's say borrowed) specialised weapons technology against any site in Iran that looks like it fits the bill. I don't think that'll happen in the immediate future, but what do I know?

We really aren't alot different from Israel you know.
