    On joining ebay...

...I have found something on ebay that I believe to be a rather good bargain (considering its actually worth at least double the selling price if not considerably more) - anyway reasons aside I was wondering does anyone here use ebay?
is it ok? (though I know its mostly down to the seller etc.)

its just that they ask for your card details during registration thats a bit weird...I mean, why? surely thay can prove your identity another way. I guess its partly that I don't trust it and it seems to mirror those dodgy emails of "I'm stuck in africa give me your card details so I can extract 10 pence and no more (honest gov')"

    - but what do you people think?

Please, Don't ask for that one 'as a desktop'...its really not worth wasting your time asking, unless you're able to pay £££?

I registered with them without using a CC coz I don't have one. They can register you using a proper email address like work or your own domains email address or something.

They won't accept Yahoo or Hotmail addresses and I don't think they'll even accept my btinternet.com address but it may have been just me!

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

Sign up using your email address (if you have a 'real' one) then buy it and tell everyone! That way we can't snap it up!

Or if you're not gonna sign up and buy it, then let us know and someone else can have a chance!

Chances are it's not as incredible a deal as you think it is if it's on ebay
