Airport Parking - Is it a total rip off or not too bad?
Hi All,
I'm flying out to Sunny Michigan USA for Christmas tomorrow ('s gonna be cold), and was wondering how much parking would probably cost for 8 days at Gatwick Airport. Will I need to re-mortgage just to park, or will only cost about the same as a taxi to the station and a couple of rail tickets? Basically, if it's a only a bit more expensive, I'm prepared to pay for the convenience, but if it's gonna cost me hundreds of quid I'll bite the bullet and set my alarm those two hours earlier  Cheers oh great guru's of all knowledge - Andrew.  They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them. |

Seems to be between £65 and £80 depending on distance. Tbh, I reackon the taxi and train for me tomorrow, and for me and the Mrs next week (she's already out there, but we're coming back together) won't be much less than £50. And the luxury of getting home that much faster when we land might be well worth it. <thinks/> They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them. |

you are probably right there, only have experience with Liverpool JL. but i remember thinking that if it was out of my own money i would have arranged alternative transport to the airport...
