I really want some sleep...

story:
Ive just finnished two weeks of 12 hour shifs, finnishing at 6am on saturday morning... only to find Ive got a bloody annoying cold/runny nose and very painfull cough (how can there be so much pain with no blood.....). Luckly I dont seem to be coughing much but that will probably get worse... also a slight headache and my eyes hurt - lack of sleep...

Headache is of course my own fault.. loud metal to block out christmas cheese.. much better than the quit job option though..

And so I have a problem.. my sleep timing is 100% wrong which really doesnt help when you have a blocked up nose and much sleep preventing noise everywhere.



Tonight I went to bed at 2am, spent an eternity with my eyes closed but awake only to find its not 6 or 7 am like I assumed, but 4am..... 4AM!!!?! so I got up and started typing this.. before getting bored, watching a very crap film and finnishing typing this now.

I know how it feels - my body clock was such that sleep only seemed appealing after 4 or 5 in the morning

twas a little shy of 5am at creamfeilds, i honestly have no idea who the DJ was, or which tent we where in, but someone did a truely outstanding mix of that. I swear if you think drugs are the ultimate way of relaxing, your missing a part of your brain that deals with music.

Well said that man. Music is the drug that keeps me raving for 7 hours (clean) while all my friends are dropping this that and the other!

SilentDeath, if it's any consolation I think most of the country has that particular cold at the moment, my throat has been killing me for the last 3 days and the cough is keeping me awake along with the random runny noses!

While it may not help SilentDeath (Well it might if he hasn't tried it) put on a DVD you know you've seen quite alot, generally that helps me feel quite sleepy half way through it.

I'm hoping this flu things avoids me, it's going through people at work like you wouldn't believe, they are going down with it like flies.

I was around snuffly, snotty people this weekend but I hope the alcohol intake has killed all the germs. I've a bit of a cough etc but thats from smoking far too many ciggies I reckon.
