Euro RoadTrip 08'
Hi all,
Going on a Eurotrip Feb 1st -4th with a few mates and was wondering if anyone could pick some holes in the road trip we have planned. We've hired a Merc E200 so should at least be comfy! Day 1 - Frankfurt Arrive in Frankfurt @ 11.30 Spend 4-5 hrs in Frankfurt Leave Frankfurt for Munich @ 4-5pm -> (4 Hrs) Spend the night in Munich Day 2 - Munich/Milan Leave Munich for Milan @ 9-10am -> (6Hrs) Arrive in Milan @ 4-5pm Spend the night in Milan, check out nightlife Day 3 - Milan/Zurich Leave Milan @ 12-2pm for Zurich -> (4Hrs) Arrive in Zurich @ 4-5pm Spend the night in Zurich Day 4 - Zurich/Frankfurt Leave Zurich for Frankfurt @ 9-10 -> (4.5Hrs) get to Frankfurt at 4pm the latest and give car back Relax in the city/airport until flight at about 9pm All the timings are from TomTom and google maps but i am very sceptical about the journey times!!!! My fellow road trippers seem happy enough but i think 6 hours for a trip over the Alps is a little bit low. Has anyone got any actual experience of the actual times? Second question...i was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere really cheap to stay on each of the nights. That's Munich, Milan and Zurich! |eBay| Because monkeys never hurt anyone. |Hexus|

Re: Euro RoadTrip 08'
I was just looking on Hostel Bookers. Seems a good place to start.
