For those of you not turning into werewolves tonight...
There's a Full Lunar Eclipse tonight which according to - NASA - Total Lunar Eclipse: February 20, 2008 - the partial eclipse starts at around 1:43 am and the full lunar eclipse begins at 3:01am GMT
I read that there won't be another one for around 3 years, and the weather is ideal tonight so a perfect opportunity to watch it. Would be nice if some of the hexus photographers took some photos too, i think i read somewhere that one of you lot has a big telescope, so closeup lunar eclipse photos would be cool! Thats all  Andy |

lol clunk, managed to see part of the partial eclipse but it was distorted by the fog that had started to descend so i went to bed and didn't bother getting up for the full eclipse

Was up anyway as was working nights. Was a bit cloudy/foggy so couldn't see clearly, but could see enough to see that is was being eclisped . Couldn't discern much of a colour change though.

nope couldnt see a thing (went out to pre-icer the car.. turned out to be the first day this week it hasnt been bloody freezing

it was at like 3 am, and was gonna be too cloudly... but i did take some photos of the last lunar eclipse, which was last year i think...
because of websense i cant post a picture right now... but if you go to my Flickr look in the photograpy>lunar section.... I'l post some photos here at lunch time...   from the lunar eclipse on 3rd march 2007
