Re: Missing Shannon found ALIVE!
Every once in a while, one of these stories has a happy ending. Unfortunately, far too infrequently. But it seems this is one of those times.
As 0iD so eloquently put it .... w00t!

Re: Missing Shannon found ALIVE!
Just caught it whilst listening to the news. Really pleased to hear it. Let's hope the family can get back to some assemblance of normality
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

Re: Missing Shannon found ALIVE!
that's excellent you get so used to already expecting the worst don't you.
(not referring to your post here SiM although expecting the worst kinda applies where you're concerned.. )

Re: Missing Shannon found ALIVE!
oops, pressed thanks instead of quote
How though? Being serious (yes it happens occasionally), there is far too many getting away with it, and while the police did do a good job here, the justice system will no doubt balls it all up

Re: Missing Shannon found ALIVE!
No fun without a bit of risk? They'll try even harder...
This isn't the sort of thing we should make jokes about though. Who knows, it could happen to your sister/daughter one day - will you be laughing then?

Re: Missing Shannon found ALIVE!
Yeah, we shouldnt be making fun....but since the atmosphere of this thread isnt sad (the girl got found alrite)..I think we can get away with a little humour (at the abductor's expense)....
Anyways...yes I am pretty serious and touchy regarding this...what frustrates me is that I cant think of a logical way to stop such people...they are amongst us...they dont have it written on their foreheads, and everytime, we get to know when they get caught...Oh!..he was the man? oh!... ![]()
