The dog is dropping puppy shaped lifeforms.

and, as the only non-dog lover in the house (and the only one not on holiday, by my choice), I gets to see the whole process. Wonderful.

The male is making a racket because he's locked in the cage, and the mother-to-be is dripping blood and brown stuff all over the floor.

I have work still, and much as I would rather stay at home on a normal day, I'd rather go there all night and leave it all to the professionals. But I have to keep the parents updated, including pictures ('any time of the day or night.')

Oh the joys of being a pet owner! (/sarcasm)

Oh, and I cut my hand on a dropped glass too.

But all of you dog lovers, be happy for my family (including the 8 or so to come...)

It's not so bad, the next door neighbours are helping out too. And some of the family will be back on saturday. I guess it's just a belated birthday present (early for Friday)

As for the hand, then lucky I don't like the sight of blood, even my own

Reading my OP, I didn't mean to sound so negative. Just that I don't like dogs, and it's just me here. Perhaps my mum just thinks that wasting hols (on a points based scheme, she'd lose the points) is that bad?

Have to let it happen first lol. If it was happening right now, I wouldn't have chance to be on here. For all I know she could drop them in my lap while I'm sleeping tonight... bad train of thought

When I do get pics, they'll have to wait a while before going anywhere. First off I'll need somewhere to upload them too.. is Imageshack still any good?

I'm sure he didn't post any because its a frustrating/sad day for him. I don't post pics after I have been to a funeral

Um, I thought that dogs weren't actually capable of sensible thoughts? They just do, no thinking about it.

Far as I'm concerned, our male has just 3 instincts, in this order.

    The female.
    Food.
    Sleep.

Since he's still quite young (under 2), he's rather obsessed with being as naughty as possible, and he loves to chew anything and everything. So that makes 4 total, although the last should stop soon.

Re: The dog is dropping puppy shaped lifeforms.

There is no way I'm getting any sleep tonight. I tried, but the male just WILL NOT shut his trap.

Now, the female has given birth to one... and it won't shut up either, although that's probably for want of milk than want of company...

The female is getting ready for round two as I type. It's going to be a long night. I just hope I'll be able to swap shifts with someone, and have tomorrow off work

Edit: And while I'm in a complaining mood, it's bloody freezing here too. And my bed stuff has pregnancy blood all over them.
