I don't see the need to type in "text talk" on a computer, after all, time isn't so short that you must abbreviate every other word, is it?

Well it being a forum it gives you plenty of time to type a post, check your spelling and punctuation and then post it. I see so many threads entitled (for example) "ned hlp wiv hardware" or something like that. Makes me laugh, i just don't understand how you can make spelling mistakes on forums!

As our wise lecturer would say "DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL?!?!"

Hmm, I made a thread like this too, still, you have to remember that not all people are good at spelling.

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

    sorry
maybe the forums should have a spell check button? i dont see the point in any threads like this though. i think doing bad spelling on purpose is just sad but as long as its not exessive and acidental i dont really care if some one does mistakes.. useually doesnt make it any less readable.
also you may notice i dont bother with caps and other punctuation on forums or irc etc.. not sure why but I might try to do it in the future...

Zak, I type like I talk too. But I dnt type like dis. It's annoying. I usually say "pardon?" and it sets them straight after a few times!!

Instant ban from Hexus for the next person who text talks?

Ahem, as some of you know my IRC name is "Riddler" and, if you check, Riddler and Craig are taken, thus i came up with this name 1t5 n0t l1k3 1 t4l|< l1k3 t|-|15 411 t|-|3 t1m3 I was just having a general rant about people who really dont seem to give a damn about how they type something out, check the General Hardware forum for an example.
